Gentlemen,

As you may or may not know, fraternity rush for the fall semester is about to begin. As the acting Rush Chairman, I would like to be the first to invite you to rush Sigma Alpha Epsilon [SAE]. Going Greek is a choice over 13% of students at Virginia Tech make every year, and is the biggest system on campus. Sigma Alpha Epsilon is one of, if not the strongest, chapter at Virginia Tech as well as nationwide winning the Cup of Excellence, which is the highest award the Tech Greek community has to offer.

The Virginia Zeta chapter of SAE at Virginia Tech was founded over 25 years ago on October 25th, 1975, and is the 220th chapter of SAE to be installed. We are one of the oldest fraternities at Virginia Tech as well as one of the largest, with 88 active brothers. We are proud of our rich tradition on the Virginia Tech campus and believe that above all we display loyalty, enthusiasm, and brotherhood to the highest degree. Many of our brothers are involved in university organizations such as Student Government, Division -I athletics, Inter-Fraternity council, honor societies, and volunteer programs.

Along with our extra-curricular activities, Sigma Alpha Epsilon has also posted noteworthy academic success. Many brothers achieve Dean's List and Semester Honors status consistently. As a chapter, we also participate in many philanthropic projects, all-campus activities, and excel in intramural sports. SAE is also known for its impeccable social program. We have countless parties, socials with sororities, tailgates, date parties, and formal events. Because of the diversity of the many opportunities presented to our members, we feel assured that Sigma Alpha Epsilon at Virginia Tech offers an area of interest to every individual who wishes to take advantage of both his college years and his future.
